Aruban shops open early, close from noon until 2:00, then re-open until 6 PM. Look for some to be closed Tuesdays. Shopping in Aruba is not duty-free but many imported items, especially from Europe, are sold at bargain rates: porcelain from Copenhagen, silver & pewter from Denmark, Holland and Sweden. Labels such as Gucci, Givenchy and Lauren are found throughout the island. Mall shopping is popular in Aruba and there are a few charming ones worth visiting: |
