Tortola & Virgin Gorda Shopping Overview

On Tortola and Virgin Gorda shopping
is not an elaborate affair. Although there are a few shopping
complexes for quality items, most of the shopping on Tortola is
centered around Road Town's main street and at Wickham's Cay adjoining
the Marina. On Virgin Gorda, most of the shopping is transacted
at the resort hotels. There are, however, a sprinkling of pleasant
shops located at the yacht harbour in Spanish Town. On both islands
look for fine jewelry, perfume, cotton dresses, swimwear and native
handicrafts. As for liquor, the bargains are not great but prices
can be better than at home. |
