A restored carriage house and several lacy Victorian cottages contain rooms furnished with canopied beds, ceiling fans, and modern baths; some have kitchenettes. Here, we often spied guests snoozing in hammocks or lazing about the gardens; for the more active, there's a pool, tennis court, and stables (a unique treat: daily carriage rides behind a pair of handsome Belgian drafthorses).
