this seven-story hotel attracts a wide clientele, from sun worshipers
to conventioneers. All the sand lost to recent hurricanes was replaced,
and the nightlife is tops, including live entertainment, a disco and
casino. Despite crowded beaches in high season and the vaguely impersonal
feel of a chain hotel, this establishment boasts wonderful views. A
restaurant, La Case Creole, remains an island favorite. Ample
